On 19 September 2022 ZHTN represented by Elga Sarapung, Gabriel Goa, Rosidin, Emmy Sahertian held an audience with The Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs. The hearing was a response to a letter sent to President Jokowi. Through the letter which was the result of 2 offline meetings in Jakarta, it was decided that a meeting or hearing with the President should be held in relation to the spread of human trafficking in Indonesia. The President dismissed the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs with the reason that the President was very busy. The ZHTN team was received by the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs. And the response was very positive. The point is that the Jokowi government is very supportive. Until that day there were 7 meetings held by the President specifically for human trafficking.

We hope and we really need to work with the government. We criticize the government but we must also positively build bridges with the government. The government must be constantly reminded. Don't just criticize but we don't provide alternatives etc.

On the same occasion ZHTN also met with the Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, the team was received by the Minister at her home on the same day. The five recommendations submitted to the President are:
- Optimization of Presidential Decree No. 22 of 2021 concerning the Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of the Crime of HT
- Revision of Law no. 21 of 2007 concerning Eradication of the Crime of HT
- Issuing a Presidential Decree on Justice Collaborator for the crime of HT Justice Collaborator untuk Tindakan Pidana Perdagangan Manusia
- Establish a National Agency for Combating the crime of HT
- Encourage to work together.
